Job Description

Primary Role

• The Facilities Manager will be responsible for the comprehensive management of Mantrac Ghana’s facility portfolio.
• This includes overseeing the planning, maintenance, repairs, cleaning, safety, security and strategic development of all corporate offices, service workshops, warehouses and logistics yards
• The role ensures these facilities operate efficiently, safely and cost effectively to support the business’s technical and customer service operations.
• The Facilities Manager is also a key driver in sustainability, compliance, risk mitigation and facility modernization

• Ability to communicate technical information
• Advanced project management skills
• Technical understanding of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing) systems
• Procurement and negotiation
• Financial management and budget forecasting
• IT proficiency (Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Facility Management software)
  
  

Physical Requirement

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk working on a computer
• The ability to lift objects, potentially up to 40 pounds, may be necessary for tasks like handling materials or equipment
• Standing or walking for extended periods is a requirement for tasks like inspecting facilities or making rounds
• May needs to climb ladders to access equipment or inspect areas
  
  

Qualification Required & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in facilities management, engineering, building services or related discipline
• Minimum of 5 to 10 years experience in facilities or operations management, with at least 3 years in a supervisory management role
• Experience in managing industrial or technical service environments workshops warehouses, etc preferred
• Knowledge of Ghanaian building regulations, safety codes and ISO/OSHA standards
