MECHANICAL ENGINEER
Job Description
As the mechanical engineer;

• You will work closely with a dynamic management team to complete a number of small projects.
• You will be assigned projects with details, requirements, and deadlines where you will use your engineering design and calculating skills towards completing projects and overcoming challenges. Typical projects will involve, site visits, design calculations, leading and managing technicians and client communication.
• You will participate in daily technical meetings to review Project progressions, performance of team members and recourse management. This position will serve as a great transition from your current status to further engineering skills in an array of projects as well as opportunity in management.
  

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design of mechanical, structural, and multidisciplined systems, and equipment for industrial facilities with respect to requirements and scope on small to large projects(HVAC).
• Estimate project plans, scopr documents, tenders, shop drawings engineering drawings and BOQ.
• Attend to other project deliveries and requirement as required.
• Delegation and supervision of work to Technicians to ensure project progression and delivery.
• Detailed Design form Tender Document and Drawings.
• Effective communication with projects manager(s), team members and clients on all stages of projects for Design installation testing and commissioning.
• Make site visits to facilities and construction sites as required for client meeting, site measurements and inspections.
  

Qualification
The following is the list of attributes of the ideal candidate ;

• Bachelor or technologist degree in mechanical engineering.
• Strong working knowledge of interprete and productive engineering drawings, Autocad(3d)and solid work experience and constitutes a strong asset.
• Comfortable in leading projects involving all engineering disciplines.
• A minimum of two(2) years practical project experience.
• Familiar with Work Safe BC, Building code, HVAC codes, Havac Control Systems-SI, ACN Refrigeration Principles, electrical System Design
