The Reconciliation Accountant will ensure the accuracy of financial records by reconciling bank accounts, transactions, and financial statements. The role involves identifying and resolving discrepancies, maintaining accurate records, preparing reconciliation reports, and supporting the finance team with timely and accurate financial information.

Responsibilities:
- Review financial statements and transactions for accuracy.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure account balances match.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in financial records.
- Prepare and maintain detailed documentation of reconciliation processes.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline reconciliation procedures.
- Assist in preparing reports related to reconciled accounts.
- Communicate with vendors and clients regarding outstanding payments.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Monitor and track any aged items in accounts.
- Participate in audits and respond to auditor inquiries.
Required Skills or Experience
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
- 5 years experience is required
- Experience with accounting software and ERP systems.
- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements in accounting practices.
- Ability to analyze and interpret financial data effectively.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other data management tools.
- Basic understanding of financial regulations and compliance.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
