A leading real estate and social housing developer based in Accra, Ghana, is seeking a highly analytical, strategic, and disciplined Finance Manager. The successful candidate will spearhead our financial operations, drive fiscal efficiency, and ensure robust statutory compliance as we expand our impactful affordable housing developments across the country.

Key Responsibilities
Financial Management & Control
- Maintain absolute day-to-day financial and internal controls across all project portfolios.
- Manage the integrity of the general ledger, sub-ledgers, project costing trackers, and bank reconciliations.
- Oversee cash flow forecasting and liquidity management to support multi-phase social housing construction projects.
Budgeting & Reporting
- Lead the bottom-up preparation and implementation of corporate budgets, regular reforecasts, and financial targets.
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict compliance with IFRS and local reporting guidelines.
- Present comprehensive variation reports to senior executive management to guide strategic business decisions.
Taxation & Compliance
- Manage all direct and indirect local tax obligations, ensuring timely filings for Corporate Tax, VAT, WHT, and SSNIT.
- Liaise seamlessly with external auditors and regulatory bodies to facilitate smooth annual accounting audits.
- Keep abreast of Ghanaian financial laws, property sector regulations, and compliance standards.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Education & Professional Certifications
- First Degree: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a closely related business discipline.
- Professional License: Fully qualified Chartered Accountant and active member of a recognized professional body such as ICAG, ACCA, or CIMA.
- Added Advantage: An MBA in Finance or Business Administration.
Work Experience
- Minimum of 5 to 7 years of progressive corporate accounting experience.
- At least 3 years must be in a supervisory or managerial finance role, ideally within a reputable local or multinational real estate, property management, or civil construction firm.
Technical & Soft Skills
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software QuickBooks, alongside expert-level Microsoft Excel skills.
- Impeccable presentation, spoken, and written communication skills to clearly explain financial realities to non-finance project leaders.
- Exceptional attention to detail, proactive problem-solving traits, and high professional ethical standards.
