Job summary
We are recruiting a Finance, Information Systems and Administration Manager to take charge of these functions, based at our office in East Legon, with some travel required within Ghana.
Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Financial control, including making payments, ensuring matching of payments to invoices and timely chasing of overdue invoices, and reconciling to statements
- Financial record keeping, including ensuring data in our books and our custom built webapp to consolidate finance information from our team is correct and timely.
- Internal audit functions, including making unannounced spot checks
- Ensuring we are compliant with GRA and other financial regulatory requirements
- Working with our office administrator to ensure our company administrative and HR information is properly maintained
- Financial monitoring, including producing regular reports, and alerting top management to any issues of concern
- Advising on business strategy, particularly financial aspects
Requirements:
- Be a qualified chartered accountant
- Have at least 3 years experience as a finance manager working within a company (preferably an SME), and ideally including responsibility for company books
- Combine thoroughness and attention to detail, with an ability to horizon scan, take an overview, and help shape overall business direction as a member of the company management team.
- Be hardworking and self-starting, and also a team player able to build up others
- Have strong analysis skills
- Be an excellent communicator, including leading on ensuring understanding of and compliance with financial responsibilities at every level within the company
- Be flexible in covering wide ranging responsibilities and ready to grow with the company
