Business Development Officer

Responsibilities:

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the livestock farming sector.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients, including farmers, investors, and agricultural businesses.
• Conduct market research to understand industry trends and identify target markets.
• Develop and deliver compelling proposals and pitch desks showcasing FiaKare's solutions and their benefits.
• Negotiate and close business deals, ensuring mutually beneficial partnerships.
• Manage and nurture existing client relationships, fostering long-term collaborations.
• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
• Prepare and submit regular reports on sales activities and performance metrics.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends, technologies, and best practices in livestock farming.
• Any other tasks that may be assigned to you.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Agriculture, or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in business development or a related sales role.
• Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and achieving business objectives.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong negotiation and relationship-building abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• A passion for the agriculture industry and a desire to make a positive impact.
