Shield Pension Trust is a Ghanaian-owned registered corporate Trustee under the Company Act of Ghana that is fully licenced and regulated by the National Pensions Regulatory Authority.

Shield provides first-rate pension scheme administration, corporate/individual trustee services, consultancy, and financial literacy staff training using cutting-edge technology.


ROLE DESCRIPTION*


To identify and pursue new business opportunities to grow Shield Pension Trust’s client base and assets under management. You are to build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, financial advisors, and institutional partners to promote the organization’s pension and retirement products. Additionally, you are responsible for conducting market research to identify trends and develop strategic plans that align with the company’s goals.


*KEY RESPONSIBILITIES*


* Business Acquisition and Growth: Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities by engaging with corporate organizations, and individuals to onboard them onto Shield Pension Trust’s retirement savings and pension products.


* Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients to ensure client satisfaction, retention, and referrals, serving as the primary point of contact for all business-related queries.


* Market Research and Strategy Development: Conduct thorough market analysis to identify trends, competitor activities, and potential sectors for growth, and develop strategic plans to enhance Shield Pension Trust’s market positioning.


* Sales and Promotional Activities: Design and implement effective sales strategies, conduct product presentations, and represent the company at industry events, trade fairs, and corporate seminars to promote brand visibility and attract clients.


JOB SPECIFICATION


*Education*

* Should have a minimum of bachelor's degree or equivalent professional qualification in Business Administration, Marketing or related field.



*Experience*

* A minimum of three (3) years relevant working experience.


*Key Skills*

* Ability to clearly articulate the value of pension products and deliver persuasive presentations to potential clients.

* Ability to effectively sell pension products, close deals, and negotiate terms with clients and partners.

* Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain long-term relationships with corporate clients, individuals, and stakeholders.

* Skill in analyzing market trends, identifying opportunities, and developing strategic growth plans.

* Familiarity with pension laws and compliance requirements set by the National Pensions Regulatory Authority (NPRA) in Ghana.
