Job Summary
We seek a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager (BDM) to lead our growth strategy in the pension fund management space. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong relationships with institutional and corporate clients, and driving the onboarding of retirement fund schemes.

Job Description/Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to attract and retain pension fund clients, including corporate bodies, trustees, unions, and SMEs.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the pensions sector, including Tier 2, and Tier 3 schemes.
- Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation and proposal development to client onboarding and relationship management.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders such as HR heads, CFOs, and trustees of retirement schemes.
- Conduct client presentations, training sessions, and seminars on pension fund management and retirement planning.
- Stay updated with industry regulations, trends, and best practices related to pensions and retirement benefits.
- Collaborate operations teams to ensure smooth onboarding and service delivery.
- Meet and exceed set business development targets and contribute to the overall growth of the firm’s pension fund portfolio.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Marketing, or a related field. A master’s degree is an advantage.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in business development or sales within the financial services or pension fund management sector.
- Strong understanding of the pensions regulatory environment (e.g., NPRA regulations).
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
- Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
