Position Title: Business Analyst (Mobile Money)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst with a strong background in mobile money systems to support our mobile app development team. The ideal candidate will have experience in analysing business needs, understanding mobile money solutions, reviewing APIs, and creating detailed low-level design documents for mobile application development.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Business Requirements Analysis:

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to mobile money systems, including transactions, user interfaces, and customer experience.

• Collaborate with stakeholders (product managers, developers, and business teams) to ensure all requirements are clearly understood and documented.

2. API Analysis and Documentation:

• Review and understand the APIs used within mobile money solutions, including payment gateway integrations, transaction APIs, and user authentication mechanisms.

• Work with technical teams to ensure API requirements align with business needs and user expectations.

3. Low-Level Design Documentation:

• Develop detailed low-level design (LLD) documents that provide clear specifications for mobile app developers, including user flow, database design, API interactions, and system architecture.

• Ensure that design documents are clear, accurate, and aligned with both business requirements and technical feasibility.

4. Mobile App Development Support:

• Provide support throughout the mobile app development lifecycle by clarifying business requirements and design aspects as needed.

• Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and the development team to ensure the final product meets user needs and expectations.

5. Testing & Quality Assurance:

• Assist in the creation of test plans and user acceptance testing (UAT) scenarios based on business requirements and design documents.

• Work with QA teams to ensure that the developed solution functions correctly within the mobile money ecosystem.

6. Continuous Improvement:

• Identify opportunities for process improvements related to mobile money solutions and mobile app development workflows.

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in mobile money and app development.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.

• Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst with a focus on mobile money solutions.

• Proven experience in analyzing APIs and creating detailed technical documentation, especially for mobile app development.

• Familiarity with mobile money services, such as mobile payments, wallet systems, mobile banking, and integration with financial institutions.

• Skills:

• Strong understanding of mobile money ecosystems, APIs, and how they integrate with mobile apps.

• Proficient in tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Office Suite, and UML for documentation.

• Ability to translate complex business requirements into clear technical specifications.

• Strong communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with both technical and non-technical teams.

• Knowledge of mobile app development processes, including agile methodologies, is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with mobile app development frameworks (e.g., React Native, Flutter, Swift, Kotlin).

• Familiarity with payment gateway providers and financial regulations surrounding mobile money.
