To assist the Showroom Chinese Manager in the day-to-day operations including planning, administration, and general management issues, which include supervision of sales staff, marketing and merchandising, logistics, inventory, and warehouse operations, to ensure that the highest levels of customer service are given at all times.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Image Management: Brand Image including Maintaining the brand image to the highest standards, to ensure that the showroom and all displays are neat and tidy at all times,To ensure that all window displays are executed on time and responsibility for the display of all marketing items
  • Customer Service: includes ensuring that customers are extended the highest levels of customer service at all times, to deal promptly with customer complaints, to assists in responding to and dealing with customer communication by email, fax, and telephone
  • Sales Management: Sales Targets means to assist the Showroom Manager in ensuring that sales targets are achieved, if not exceeded, and maximize sales opportunities
  • Account Management: Assists in implementing internal controls relating to financial and retails operations, and reviews and recommends revisions and improvements, as needed, to assist with the financial reporting, budget, and sales forecasting and involve in the preparation of all costing for retail items
  • Purchasing and warehouse management: Procurement, Warehouse, Inventory and Logistics Involve in the selection until the delivery of the orders from the Suppliers, plans and monitors the storage, delivery and dispatch of orders, oversees stock control and processing orders, ensures quality, delivery budget and environmental objectives are met, keeping stock control systems up to date and involve in annual stocktaking, plans future capacity requirements and oversees various inventory items to determine what is selling, what is not selling and which ones are selling out and need to be re-ordered, determine if a certain manufacturer gets frequent complaints, thus warranting a switch to a similar provider, oversees the maintenance of vehicles, machinery and equipment
  • Team Management: Administration involve in the selection and training of staff, as well as monitoring staff performance and progress, motivating, organizing and encouraging teamwork within the workforce to ensure set productivity targets are met, to assist in the review systems on an ongoing basis to improve efficiency and service levels, liaise with tradespersons as and when required, Submits regular reports and on a daily, weekly and monthly basis, maintaining standards of health and safety, hygiene and security in the work environment, for example, ensuring that stock such as chemicals and food are stored safely, involved in business development activities such as research, feasibility studies, project presentation, etc, presents the company in trade fairs, regional meetings, business meetings with suppliers, auditors, banks and franchisors
  • Other Works: Perform other related duties as required



Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree or above with majors in  Marketing or International trade
  • More than 5 years working experience or above
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in Sales management of multinational corporation headquarters/ regional headquarters
  • More than 2 years experience in building materials sales management positions

Professional Knowledge: 

  • Familiar with Ghanaian building materials market distribution
  • Knowledge of local taxation
  • Knowledge of warehousing

Professional Skills:

  • Communication and coordination ability
  • English speaking, reading, and writing
  • Document writing
  • Office software using

Key Qualities 

  • Have the ability to analyze and judge, plan ability, decision-making ability, innovation ability and organizational coordination, cross-cultural and cross-language communication skills.
  • Rigorous and stable, adhere to principles, serious and responsible, confidential awareness, able to withstand higher work pressure.
