CUTS International, Accra, a non-governmental and non-profit policy research and advocacy organization, invites proposals from qualified and reputable audit firms for the provision of external audit services.CUTS International, Accra, operates in Ghana and the West African sub-region, focusing on public policy issues related to trade, competition, consumer protection, economic regulation, and sustainable development. As part of its governance and accountability framework, the organization seeks to engage the services of an independent external auditor to undertake its annual audit in line with statutory and donor requirements.

Job Description/Requirements
Scope of Work
The external audit will cover:
- Examination of financial statements and supporting records in accordance with International Standards on Auditing (ISA).
- Evaluation of compliance with statutory obligations, donor regulations, and internal control procedures.
- Verification of the organization’s financial position and performance for the audit period.
- Preparation and submission of an audit report, including management recommendations.
Eligibility Requirements
Interested firms must:
- Be duly registered and licensed by the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana (ICAG).
- Have proven experience in auditing non-profit or donor-funded organizations
- Possess qualified professional staff with relevant experience in external auditing and financial reporting.
- Provide evidence of having conducted at least two similar assignments within the last three years.
Submission and Deadline
Firms are required to submit:
- A Technical Proposal outlining understanding of the assignment, audit approach, team composition, and timelines.
- A Financial Proposal detailing professional fees and any related costs.
- Company profile, certificate of incorporation, ICAG license, and evidence of similar past engagements.
