A Reputable Company is seeking an experienced Management Accountant / Finance Manager who will play a key leadership role in managing the company’s financial operations and contributing to business strategy. This is not a traditional accounting role focused only on bookkeeping, taxes, or receivables. We are looking for a professional who understands business accounting, project costing, financial planning, and profitability management in a project-based and manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will act as a financial partner to the Managing Director, helping guide business decisions, optimize profitability, and build strong financial systems for sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities
Financial Management & Reporting
The candidate will be responsible for:
- Managing all accounting and financial records of the company
- Preparing accurate monthly financial statements
- Producing clear, understandable financial reports for management
- Monitoring cash flow and ensuring financial stability
- Tracking income and expenses across projects and departments
Project Costing & Profitability Analysis
The candidate must:
- Track costs per project (materials, labor, overhead, production, transport, etc.)
- Analyze profitability of each project
- Identify cost inefficiencies and propose solutions
- Advise on pricing strategies to improve margins
- Help determine which types of projects are most profitable for Bobwa
Budgeting & Financial Planning
The role includes:
- Preparing annual and quarterly budgets
- Comparing budget vs actual spending
- Forecasting cash flow needs
- Advising on major investments (e.g., machinery, equipment, staff expansion)
- Helping the company plan financially for growth
Business Strategy Support
The accountant should:
- Work closely with the Managing Director on financial decisions
- Provide financial insights before major business moves
- Help evaluate whether the company can afford certain investments
- Support strategic planning and expansion initiatives
Payroll, Payments & Compliance
Responsibilities include:
- Managing payroll and staff compensation records
- Ensuring timely payments to suppliers and contractors
- Overseeing tax compliance and financial regulations
- Coordinating with external auditors or tax consultants when necessary
Required Qualifications & Experience
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Professional certification (ACCA, ICA, or equivalent) is an advantage
Experience
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in:
- Management accounting
- Financial planning
- Manufacturing, construction, design, or project-based businesses (preferred)
- Experience in industries related to (construction, architecture, furniture, interiors, or manufacturing) will be highly valued.
Required Skills
The ideal candidate must have:
- Strong knowledge of accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or similar)
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experience with project costing and financial analysis
- Strong communication skills — able to explain finances clearly to non-accountants
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving ability
- High level of professionalism suited to a luxury brand
