Loan Recovery Officer

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage overdue loan accounts to ensure prompt recovery
• Contact clients via phone calls, visits, and written communication to discuss repayment plans
• Negotiate payment arrangements and resolve repayment challenges professionally
• Conduct field visits to follow up on delinquent accounts when necessary
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of recovery actions and client interactions
• Prepare periodic recovery reports for management review
• Work closely with the finance and legal teams on escalated or difficult cases
• Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred)
• Proven experience in loan recovery, debt collection, or microfinance operations is an advantage
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet recovery targets
• Good record-keeping and reporting skills
• Must be willing to undertake field-based duties
• Male candidates preferred due to the nature of field-related responsibilities
