Chief Accountant

We are recruiting a Chief Accountant for an international business operating in the industrial and specialty chemicals distribution sector in Ghana.

This is a key role for a finance professional who can lead day-to-day accounting operations while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strong financial discipline across the business.

The position will be central to maintaining reliable accounting records, overseeing receivables and general ledger activities, supporting tax compliance, and contributing to a robust reporting environment.

The right candidate will bring proven experience in financial accounting, reconciliations, tax compliance, reporting, and process improvement, ideally within a distribution or manufacturing setting. We are looking for someone who is structured, dependable, and comfortable working in a dynamic environment with high standards.

Candidates should be fully qualified accountants with a recognized professional qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, ICAG, or equivalent, and have at least 5 years of relevant experience.

Knowledge of local tax requirements and fluency in English are important for success in this position.
