Job summary
We are seeking an experienced and highly professional Independent Auditor to undertake a one-off review of internal records and business processes for a private company based in Ghana. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting an objective examination of company records, identifying discrepancies or irregularities, and preparing a clear written report of their findings. The assignment may also involve confidential interviews with current and former personnel to gather factual information relevant to the review.

Job descriptions & requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and reconcile internal records and documentation.
- Identify and investigate discrepancies, inconsistencies, or potential control weaknesses.
- Conduct interviews with relevant individuals in a professional and impartial manner.
- Maintain strict confidentiality throughout the assignment.
- Prepare a detailed written report outlining findings, observations, and supporting evidence.
- Provide recommendations to strengthen internal controls where appropriate.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in auditing, forensic accounting, investigations, compliance, or a related field.
- Professional accounting or auditing qualifications (such as ICA Ghana, ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or equivalent) are preferred.
- Strong analytical and investigative skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and maintain neutrality.
- High standards of integrity and confidentiality.
