Job descriptions & requirements
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Liaise with Business Development Officers to design Investment Policy Statements (IPS) based on clients’ individual risk profiles and special needs
- Create a portfolio with the appropriate asset allocation that reflects the individual’s risk preferences
- Manage portfolios according to the IPSs and Scheme Particulars to outperform benchmarks in a sustainable manner
- Develop and adopt portfolio management strategies which provide positive alpha to investors
- Structure, monitor and rebalance client portfolios
- Report to individual clients, Board of Directors and/or Trustees
- Conduct portfolio attribution analysis periodically
- Secure and deepen partnerships with individual Clients and trustee companies
- Supervise investment analysts if applicable
Education/Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, banking or business-related course.
- Must have written and passed CFA level I or level II
- GSE/GISI Courses certification
- Partial or full professional qualification in ACCA, CIPM or any accounting related course will be an advantage
Skills/Competencies:
- Excellent quantitative and analytical skills
- Proven understanding of finance, economics, and statistics
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Attentive to detail
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Teams, PPT, Excel and Word)
Experience:
- A minimum of five years’ experience in the Investment banking Industry specifically in portfolio management
