A reputable is seeking a highly organized and analytical Operations & Accounting Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the business while managing its financial and accounting functions. This role is critical to ensuring that business operations run efficiently, financial records are accurate, and internal processes are aligned with the company’s growth objectives. The ideal candidate will combine strong operational management skills with solid accounting and financial control expertise, supporting decision-making through accurate reporting and process optimization.

Key Responsibilities
Operations Management
- Oversee daily operations of the company, ensuring smooth business activities across all functions.
- Develop, implement, and improve operational processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Identify gaps in operations and recommend practical solutions to improve workflow.
- Coordinate inventory management, supplier relationships, and operational planning.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and operational standards.
- Support management in planning and executing business strategies.
Accounting & Financial Management
- Maintain accurate financial records, including income, expenses, payables, and receivables.
- Prepare monthly financial reports, cash flow statements, and management accounts.
- Monitor budgets, control costs, and track business performance against targets.
- Ensure proper documentation and filing of all financial transactions.
- Support tax filings, statutory payments, and regulatory compliance.
- Work closely with management to ensure financial decisions align with business goals.
Reporting & Controls
- Develop internal controls to safeguard company assets and reduce financial risk.
- Provide financial insights to support operational and strategic decisions.
- Assist in audits and financial reviews when required.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Professional accounting qualification (ICAG, ACCA, CIMA) is an advantage.
- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in operations management and accounting.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Experience managing operations in a retail, food & beverage, or SME environment is an advantage.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Candidate should reside in Accra.
