Office Assistant
Job summary
We are a reputable company seeking to employ a young, competent Office Assistant (20-25 years old) with a strong background in IT. The ideal candidate must be proficient in data management and skilled in using applications within the Microsoft and Google suites. They must ideally live within Accra.
Job descriptions & requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general administrative duties (filing, scheduling, delivery-order pick up's, correspondence, and office organization).
- Provide first-line IT support for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Set up and maintain workstations, printers, phones, and other office equipment.
- Assist with user account management, password resets, and basic software installations.
- Maintain inventory of IT equipment and office supplies.
- Document IT procedures and assist with basic data backup and security practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience in an administrative or office support role.
- Basic IT knowledge (Windows/Mac OS, Microsoft 365, troubleshooting printers, Wi-Fi, etc.).
- Familiarity with setting up computers, peripherals, and software.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and solve problems independently.
- Bachelors Degree or HND; additional IT training or certification is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with administration support.
- This role is ideal for a proactive individual who enjoys both administrative work and hands-on technical support in a collaborative office environment.
