Key responsibilities
Strategy Planning
- Develop and maintain strategic plans in collaboration with executive leadership to achieve the hospital's mission and objectives.
- Monitor industry trends and healthcare policies to ensure the hospital remains adaptive and competitive.
Compliance and Regulations
- Ensure the hospital complies with local, state, and healthcare regulations.
- Stay informed about changes in healthcare laws and policies, and implement necessary adjustments to maintain compliance.
Personnel Management
- Oversee the recruitment, training, and performance evaluation of hospital staff.
- Foster a positive working environment and promote effective communication among healthcare professionals.
Facility Management
- Supervise the maintenance and functionality of hospital facilities, including medical equipment and technology.
- Coordinate with the relevant department to ensure a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
Data Management and Technology
- Implement and manage a healthcare information system to streamline data management and improve patient care.
- Ensure the hospital technology infrastructure meets industry standards.
Emergency Preparedness
- Develop and implement emergency response plans to ensure the hospital’s readiness in case of disasters or public health emergencies.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in healthcare Administration or Social Sciences from a recognized tertiary institution.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare administration or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of healthcare policies, regulations, and industry trends.
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Financial acumen for budgeting and cost management.
- Knowledge of healthcare information systems and technology.
