Key responsibilities

Strategy Planning

  • Develop and maintain strategic plans in collaboration with executive leadership to achieve the hospital's mission and objectives.
  • Monitor industry trends and healthcare policies to ensure the hospital remains adaptive and competitive.


Compliance and Regulations

  • Ensure the hospital complies with local, state, and healthcare regulations.
  • Stay informed about changes in healthcare laws and policies, and implement necessary adjustments to maintain compliance.


Personnel Management

  • Oversee the recruitment, training, and performance evaluation of hospital staff.
  • Foster a positive working environment and promote effective communication among healthcare professionals.


Facility Management

  • Supervise the maintenance and functionality of hospital facilities, including medical equipment and technology.
  • Coordinate with the relevant department to ensure a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.


Data Management and Technology

  •  Implement and manage a healthcare information system to streamline data management and improve patient care.
  • Ensure the hospital technology infrastructure meets industry standards.


Emergency Preparedness

  • Develop and implement emergency response plans to ensure the hospital’s readiness in case of disasters or public health emergencies.


Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in healthcare Administration or Social Sciences from a recognized tertiary institution.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare administration or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare policies, regulations, and industry trends.
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Financial acumen for budgeting and cost management.
  • Knowledge of healthcare information systems and technology.
