Group Head of HR

Responsibilities:

• Provide overall supervision and guidance to the Human Resource Department at both the Group and subsidiary levels.
  
• Develop and implement an HR Manual that aligns with the business objectives of the Group.
• Formulate and execute recruitment and human capital development strategies that drive business success.
• Act as a business partner, identifying trends, engaging with subsidiaries, and developing, motivating, and retaining human capital.
• Foster a positive working environment that promotes employee satisfaction and engagement.
• Oversee and manage a performance management system that fosters high performance and continuous improvement.
• Identify skills gaps and implement targeted skills development strategies in line with business objectives.
• Ensure effective planning and reporting at the Group and subsidiary levels on an annual, quarterly, monthly, and weekly basis.
• Develop and maintain an attractive employee compensation package that aligns with market trends and industry standards.
• Serve as a bridge between management and employee relations, effectively addressing employee demands, grievances, or other issues.
• Provide management with HR metrics and decision support to drive strategic decision-making.
• Ensure legal compliance throughout all aspects of human resource management.

Requirements:

• A good first degree in Human Resources or a related field.
• Professional Certification in SHRM (Society for Human Resource Management).
• A masters degree will be an added advantage.
• Proven experience in senior-level management or a relevant HR role.
  
• Demonstrated strength and quality of leadership skills necessary to develop and lead an effective, well-motivated, multi-disciplinary, and multi-task team.
• Proven working experience as an HR manager.
• Ability to oversee the entire Human Resource function of the Group.
• Knowledge of HR systems and databases.
• In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices.
• Working experience in the construction industry will be an advantage.
• People-oriented with a results-driven mindset.
  
• Excellent communication skills (verbal, non-verbal, and written), including presentation preparation and delivery.
• Proven ability to build and manage relationships.
• Strong critical thinking capacity with attention to detail.
• Demonstrated ability to multitask, manage multiple workstreams, and prioritize effectively.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
