Job Summary

The Tax Manager will play a key role in the preparation and review of the quarterly tax provision and will ensure timely coordination of the income tax compliance process globally and compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) controls. The successful candidate will easily adapt to change and can shift focus between multiple priorities. Additionally, the successful candidate will be a team player with a collaborative mindset who can build lasting relationships with counterparts across various teams and with our third-party service providers. This role will report to the Senior Manager, Tax.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Manage the quarterly tax forecasting along with long-range forecasting for TCJA implications and other legislative updates impacting the tax footprint
- Prepare, review, and coordinate all aspects of U.S international tax provisions including E&P, GILTI, FDII, foreign tax credit calculations
- Facilitate the quarterly/annual tax depreciation with our third-party service provider
- Own the preparation of the quarterly / annual Stock-Based Compensation (SBC) book to tax adjustments calculation
- Perform and document SOX controls for tax accounting and reporting
- Review federal, state & local, and Non-US tax returns and estimates as prepared by 3rd party service providers, and ensure timely payments
- Reconcile income tax accounts on a monthly and quarterly basis
- Draft memos to document and support for various aspects of the tax provision
- Draft financial statement disclosures related to income taxes
- Proactively monitor and analyze US federal and state and local tax legislation that may impact our operations
- Assist with transfer pricing as needed
- Assist with the coordination of special tax projects as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required. CPA or Masters strongly preferred.
- 7+ years of combined corporate tax and public accounting experience.
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and ASC 740.
- Experience with Sarbanes-Oxley controls.
- Able to produce timely deliverables and manage multiple and shifting priorities with little supervision.
- Resourceful and have remarkable analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent project management with attention to details and the ability to drive projects to completion.
- Able to engage and collaborate with other teams across Finance and beyond.
- Communicate complex tax concepts in ways that are meaningful and useful to non-tax personnel.
- Technology sector experience preferred; digital service environment a plus.
- Experience with Onesource Tax Provision is preferred.
- Experience with Alteryx is a plus.
