Job Description/Requirements
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will oversee and strengthen all finance and administrative functions, including:
- Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Compliance: Ensure full regulatory compliance and audit readiness.
- Budgeting & Planning: Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance tracking.
- Procurement: Develop and manage procurement policies and cost-efficient purchasing processes.
- Payroll Management: Oversee payroll administration and statutory deductions
- Systems Setup: Establish and optimize finance, budgeting, reporting, and procurement systems.
- Investment Preparation: Support the business with financial structures and documentation needed for future investor engagement.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree is an advantage).
- Professional certification (ACCA, ICA, CIMA, CPA) strongly preferred.
- Minimum 5–8 years’ experience, with at least 3 years in a manufacturing/production environment.
- Proven ability to set up or streamline financial and administrative systems.
- Strong understanding of compliance, audit preparation, and corporate governance.
- Experience supporting organizations preparing for investment or scaling operations.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
