Chief Accountant

Key Responsibilities;

•  Oversee day-to-day accounting operations across multiple subsidiaries
• Ensure accuracy of the general ledger, reconciliations, and financial records
• Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports
• Supervise accountants and finance officers across the Group
• Ensure timely statutory filings, tax compliance, and audit readiness
• Support budgeting and cashflow monitoring processes
• Implement and enforce accounting policies and internal controls
• Maintain documentation, filing systems, and audit schedules
• Support costing activities (job costing, manufacturing costing, project costing)

Requirements

• Chartered Accountant (ICA/ACCA mandatory)
• 7–10 years progressive accounting experience, including supervisory experience
• Strong technical accounting skills and excellent knowledge of IFRS
• Experience in engineering, mining services, construction, EPC, or manufacturing (advantage)
• Solid understanding of tax laws, statutory compliance, and audit processes
• Strong proficiency in accounting software and Excel
• High attention to detail, discipline, integrity, and accuracy
• Ability to work under deadlines and manage multi-entity accounting
