Senior GL Accountant

• This individual will be the regional owner of the GL processes including: 
• Work with third-party accounting service provider to ensure (VAT, Additional tax, Stamp duty etc. ) in compliance with local tax regulation, complete required tax reporting in a timely manner
• Work with third-party payroll service provider to ensure accurate payroll payment and payroll tax payment.
• Assist accounting manager to prepare monthly cost plus and quarter transfer pricing for Intercompany Revenue and COGS.
• Support the period end close, includes reporting on bank transaction detail reporting, monthly input VAT, company card management and reconciliation.
• Support Fixed Asset management
• Participate in the external audit process, with specific focus on collecting key financial and accounting data. 
• Support financial accounting process improvements and development and amendment of policies and procedures
• Any other ad hoc assignment any other ad hoc assignment.

Requirements:

• This role requires effective communication in a team environment while interacting with all levels in the operations and finance organizations, as well as with external entities such as third-party service providers, State Tax Administration and other related government agencies.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or the related degree
• 5+ years relevant experience
• Fluent in English – both verbal and written communication
• A strong focus on customer service with an emphasis on timely and accurate communication
• Motivated and possessing the ability to work independently with little or no supervision
• Technical knowledge of China GAAP and exposure to US GAAP
• Highly proficient in MS office applications: Excel, Power Point and Word. 

Nice to Have:

• NetSuite and Salesforce.com knowledge is a plus
• Fluent in Japanese/Korean is a plus
