Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented senior accountant to perform accounting duties within our organization. The senior accountant's responsibilities include performing account reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger, assisting with audit preparations, and performing other accounting duties as assigned. To be successful as a senior accountant, you should have a solid working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and strong financial analysis skills. An outstanding senior accountant should also possess strong Excel skills, be detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to work with little to no supervision and perform under pressure.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Execute monthly accounting close deliverables (review or prepare - journal entries, reconciliations, reports) in compliance with GAAP
- Assist in implementing new accounting related systems and fine tuning of existing accounting systems
- Work closely with foreign subsidiaries to ensure expenses are accurately recorded in accounting system Netsuite
- Cross train on accounts payable function
- Actively contributes to the improvement of accounting systems, programs, and procedures
- Assist with various tax and audit preparation
- Performing other accounting duties and supporting junior staff as required or assigned
What we are looking for from you (Requirements)
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.
- 4+ years of accounting experience.
- Netsuite ERP experience
- Startup experience is required
- Working knowledge of tax laws and GAAP.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly with Excel and all apps in Google workspace.
- Ability to handle multiple projects within strict deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic and constantly changing company environment
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
