Job Summary
To lead, manage, and develop a team of sales agents to drive the acquisition of new life insurance policies, increase customer retention, and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and manpower targets. The Sales Manager is responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines and internal operational standards.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Recruit, onboard, train, and retain qualified life insurance sales agents.
- Achieve assigned production targets, and manpower every month.
- Supervise and motivate the sales team to improve performance and ensure consistent sales output.
- Monitor and evaluate sales team performance, providing coaching and feedback.
- Ensure strict adherence to regulatory and company compliance standards, including documentation and KYC.
- Collaborate with marketing, underwriting, and operations departments to ensure timely policy issuance and superior customer service.
- Prepare and submit weekly and monthly sales reports and forecasts to the Branch Manager.
- Conduct regular field accompaniment and performance reviews of sales agents.
- Drive cross-selling and up-selling initiatives among existing clients.
- Resolve escalated customer and agent issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensure sales activities are aligned with the company’s strategic goals and market penetration plans.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- A diploma in Insurance (CII or equivalent) is an advantage.
- Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in marketing, sales or supervisory role.
- Demonstrated track record in team management and target achievement.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Goal-oriented with strong business acumen.
- Good knowledge of life insurance products and the Ghanaian insurance landscape.
- Ability to train, motivate, and manage field sales agents.
- High ethical standards and integrity.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite and basic reporting tools..
