Sales Executive
Job summary
We are seeking a motivated, results-driven, and customer-focused Sales Executive to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, generating sales, maintaining strong customer relationships, and achieving sales targets. The role requires excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Job descriptions & requirements
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through prospecting, networking, referrals, and field visits.
- Promote and sell the company's products and services to existing and prospective customers.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients to encourage repeat business.
- Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Prepare and deliver product presentations and demonstrations to customers.
- Negotiate prices, terms, and contracts within company guidelines.
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries and resolve complaints professionally.
- Prepare quotations, proposals, invoices, and sales agreements.
- Follow up on leads and maintain an active sales pipeline.
- Conduct market research to identify customer needs, competitor activities, and emerging market trends.
- Submit daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports to management.
- Maintain accurate customer records using the company's sales management systems.
- Coordinate with the customer service, logistics, finance, and operations teams to ensure timely product delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Participate in trade exhibitions, promotional events, and marketing campaigns when required.
- Represent the company professionally and uphold its values at all times.
- Diploma, HND, or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Sales, or a related field.
- Previous experience in sales, marketing, or customer service is an advantage.
- Experience in field sales or business development is preferred.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities.
