Sales and Client Engagement Executive - Job description
We are looking for a trained sales professional to work with our Sales team. Your role will be to seek new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with existing and potential customers.
To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience developing leads from marketing campaigns, meeting sales quotas and a perfect written English. You will use your communication skills to cultivate strong relationships with customers, from the first contact until you close the deal. We would like a motivated, results-driven person who also enjoys working in a team environment. Ultimately, you will boost sales and contribute to our long-term business growth.
Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through field visits, referrals, social media, and networking.
- Present and demonstrate solar energy solutions to potential clients, including product specifications, financial benefits, and environmental impact.
- Understand customer needs and provide customized solutions aligned with Translight Solar offerings.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets as set by the Sales Manager or Branch Manager.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales proposals, quotations, and contracts.
- Maintain strong after-sales relationships and ensure high customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, and customer interactions using CRM tools.
- Stay up to date with solar industry trends, product developments, and market competitors.
- Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and community events as needed.
Requirements
- Proven work experience as a Sales Professional
- Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls)
- Track record of achieving sales quotas
- Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce)
- Familiarity with MS Excel (analyzing spreadsheets and charts)
- Understanding of sales performance metrics
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to deliver engaging presentations
- 5 years experience in Sales.
- Experience working with a renewable energy company will be an added advantage
Degrees wanted
Bachelors , Masters is an added advantage .
Majors wanted
Marketing, Business Administration or any relevant field.
Special Skills Wanted
- Experience with CRM software
- Familiarity with MS Excel (analyzing spreadsheets and charts)
- Understanding of sales performance metrics
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to deliver engaging presentations.
- Willingness to travel within assigned territory.
