Job Summary

The Regional Manager’s role is to support and allow Hyundai Doosan Infracore to better understand and serve the needs of the key customers in West Africa region and in DR Congo. Customers include the existing dealers in the region and key end users of the construction equipment the company manufactures and distributes. also main job includes to develop new channels and partner for countries where need to establish distributorship, and operate SIOP for machines supply and manage dealer’s business for countries in charge.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

Manage and develop portfolio of accounts (Dealers and Customers)

  • Key account management (Construction and Mining customers in West Africa and DR Congo)
  • New channel and distributorship development in West Africa and DR Congo
  • Conduct product and sales trainings for dealers in the region on behalf of Korea HQ


Responsible for building strong client relationships

  • Identify, build, and maintain strong relationships with key customers in the region
  • Work with dealers for sales lead management
  • Tracking business opportunities (tenders & project opportunities)


SIOP operation for business

  • Set and operate SIOP monthly, quarterly and annually for countries in charge   
  •  Investigate and gather local market data such as port/retail count data, retail price/condition of competitive product and market intelligence in countries in charge


Establish marketing and sales strategies and implementing

  • Plan and support HQ for account-wise strategy implementations
  • Plan and support HQ for distributorship development



Requirements:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in English and French. Some local languages would be ideal - preferred
  • High level of computer literacy; proficient in the use of MS Office, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Able to travel frequently to various countries in West and Central Africa.
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision often alone and prioritize tasks appropriately
  • Ability to relate to people at all levels effectively
  • Bachelor's degree, with preference in business or machinery related fields - preferred
  • Experience with an international company will be an added advantage
  • Experience in construction and mining equipment related business and/or in mining/construction companies (Fleet management, Product Manager, or Technical Sales) - preferred
  • Understand the essential competencies of running a machinery dealership



Key Performance Indicators for Dealer Development Manager


Customer Portfolio Management:

  • Deal coverage of the accounts managed versus the total market size (constantly improve the coverage)


Develop and manage potential dealership pool:

  • Manage dealer candidates identified and level of information of the candidate
  • Dealers set-up from the pool managed
  • Find candidates interested in the dealership
