Quality Assurance Officer

Responsibilities:

• Analyze raw materials, in-process, and finished products using established testing procedures to ensure compliance with quality standards
• Develop and prepare Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Standard Testing Procedures for the laboratory, ensuring accuracy and consistency in testing protocols
• Calibrate laboratory equipment, ensuring proper functionality and accuracy of results
• Ensure that Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) are adhered to in the laboratory, including maintenance of cleanliness and sanitation standards
• Document and report test results, ensuring accuracy and completeness of data
• Collaborate with other departments and cross-functional teams to identify areas of improvement and recommend corrective actions
• Conduct physical and chemical analysis of food products, including testing for moisture, pH, and other relevant
• Prepare solutions and conduct microbiological analysis of food products, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and protocols
• Document and report test results, ensuring accuracy and completeness of data
• Conduct sensory evaluation of newly developed products, providing feedback and recommendations to the development team

Quality Assurance Officer Requirements:

• HND/Degree preferred.
• A certificate in quality assurance and Chemistry is a plus.
• Previous experience in quality assurance or a similar field.
• Working knowledge of tools, methods, and concepts of quality assurance.
• Solid knowledge of relevant regulatory standards.
• Experience in the food industry is a plus
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Excellent data collection and analysis skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
