Job Summary

The Payroll Administrator is responsible for independently performing accurate and timely processing of multi-state payrolls. The individual will exercise independent judgment in carrying out the details of the work according to applicable regulations, company policies and procedures. The individual will report into our Payroll Manager and must maintain a high level of confidentiality and integrity to ensure confidence and protection of the integrity of the payroll operations and information.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Accurate and timely processing of payrolls
  • Verify HR entered data interfaced accurately to ADP EV5 via reports out of our HRIS, SuccessFactors
  • Balance payrolls – weekly & semi-monthly
  • Produce and run ADPR Reports
  • Supporting eTIME historical edit process and payroll adjustments thereof
  • Produce manual checks for special payments or circumstances
  • Calculate, maintain, and process severance payments
  • Manage Set-ups and Registrations for PA & OH locals & manage any ongoing communication required for these setups
  • Process and confirm Benefit Sheets/Manual Adjustments as well as loading 401K deferral and loan information
  • Review and load hourly and overtime files from the eTIME module into ADP
  • Collaborate with the Tax team as needed for employee setup or ongoing support
  • Manage storage and compliance requests
  • Lend expertise in projects, support, or general team trainings
  • Excellent people skills, job requires building and maintaining working relationships with HR, Benefits and employees on related questions

Qualifications:

We think the successful profile for our next Payroll Specialist includes, but is not limited to the following:

  • A Payroll professional who has the upmost respect for the confidentiality of their work and the information they are exposed to
  • 2 – 6 years of experience preparing high volume payrolls, preferably in a multistate payroll processing environment
  • Very familiar with Federal, State, and Local tax programs and process
  • Knowledge of accounting standards, payroll regulations and compliance
  • Confidence to deliver accurate and detail-oriented work in a fast-paced environment driven by deadlines
  • Comfortable as an independent contributor in a team setting
  • Consistently professional in written and oral communication
  • Familiarity with Publicis Groupe’s suite of systems or similar systems: ADP EV5, SuccessFactors, eTIME, and others
  • Comfortable with working overtime at key peak seasons in the payroll calendar (cut offs, year-end, etc..)
