Key Responsibilities
Sales & Customer Service
- Respond quickly to inquiries through WhatsApp, calls, Facebook, Tonaton/Jiji
- Prepare quotations and convert inquiries into sales
- Follow up with contractors, homeowners, builders and developers
- Maintain excellent customer service & problem resolution
Operations & Dispatch
- Allocate trucks and drivers for daily deliveries
- Coordinate with quarries, sand winners and site managers
- Track trips, turnaround time, and driver performance
- Ensure timely, safe and accurate deliveries
Driver & Fuel Management
- Supervise, discipline and support drivers
- Manage fuel cards/vouchers, monitor fuel usage, prevent losses
- Maintain accurate fuel and delivery logs
Maintenance Oversight
- Keep trucks in good working condition
- Address mechanical issues promptly
- Track repair costs and schedule regular servicing
Admin & Reporting
- Maintain simple records in Google Sheets/Excel
- Prepare daily and weekly management reports
- Manage petty cash, payments and documentation
Required Qualifications
- 3–5+ years’ experience in transportation, construction, aggregates or haulage
- Strong communication, negotiation and people-management skills
- Knowledge of Accra/Tema roads, quarries and construction corridors
- Strong WhatsApp Business & basic computer skills
- Highly responsible, honest, reliable and disciplined
Compensation
- Monthly salary (GHS 2,500–3,500 depending on experience)
- Trip commission (GHS 10–20 per completed delivery)
- Efficiency bonus (based on fuel/repair cost control)
- New client acquisition bonus
- Profit-based bonus
Location: Accra (preferred: Weija / McCarthy Hill / Kasoa / Nsawam/ Tema corridor)
