Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Create/modify unit and synthetic tests accordingly
  • Perform code and documentation reviews and provides documented feedback on code quality, performance limiters, and adherence to best practices
  • Recognize and address poor user experience
  • Track common technical problems
  • Communicate with development/engineering team to address patterns
  • Create clear development and user documentation
  • Analyze why existing unit tests fail
  • Assist in the creation of test strategy and plans for performance, high availability, monitoring of environment validation
  • Capture and analyze results; reports metrics
  • Deploy weekly launches
  • Monitor error tracking and usage after each weekly launch



Requirements:

• The ideal candidate will have strong written and verbal communication skills
• Review product requirements documentation and implement comprehensive test plans and test cases covering this material
• Interact with product development teams to ensure proper test coverage and high quality of the projects delivered to production
• Develop and revise testing strategies and test cases
• Perform test execution, test analysis and all phases of testing, including functional, regression, performance, usability, integration, acceptance, accessibility, etc
• Experience crafting automated testing strategy across all layers of the application
• Troubleshoot and analyze application issues to root cause when possible
• Report bugs into the bug tracking system with clear and detailed steps to reproduce
• Proactively participate in maintaining team standards and best practices
• Should be comfortable working independently, as well as being an efficient collaborator with other team members
• Responsible for developing, applying and maintaining quality standards for company products with adherence to both internal and external standards
• Develops and executes software test plans
• Analyzes and writes test standards and procedures
• Maintains documentation of test results
• Analyzes test results and recommends corrective actions
• As a member of the technical/process QA division, you will design, install and evaluate quality control methods and systems
• Design continuing maintenance of product quality
• Develop standards and procedures to provide quality guidance and methods
• Duties and tasks are standard with some variation; displays understanding of roles, processes and procedures
