Job descriptions & requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise all hostel staff (porters, cleaners, administration) and manage shift schedules.
- Handle student/tenant grievances, emergencies, and disciplinary issues.
- Oversee facility maintenance, safety protocols, and utility management.
- Report regularly to the hostel owners on occupancy rates and operational costs.
- Ensure compliance with local hospitality, health, and safety regulations.
- Manage vendor contracts for security, waste management, and repairs.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in property management, hospitality, or hostel operations.
- Strong leadership, conflict-resolution, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and professionally.
Location: Korle-Bu, Accra, Ghana
Salary: GHS 4,000 – GHS 5,000 per month
