Heavy Equipment Mechanic

Role Description: This is a full-time, on-site Heavy Equipment Mechanic role based in Kumasi. The Heavy Equipment Mechanic will inspect, diagnose, and repair heavy mining and earthmoving equipment, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing downtime. Responsibilities include scheduled preventive maintenance, component replacement, and overhauls on engines, hydraulic systems, transmissions, braking systems, and undercarriage. The role involves troubleshooting mechanical and electrical faults, documenting work performed, and maintaining accurate service records. T

Qualifications

• Demonstrated skills in Equipment Maintenance and Vehicle Maintenance for heavy mining and construction machinery.
• Strong competency in Equipment Repair and Heavy Equipment servicing, including engines, hydraulics, and drivetrains.
• Proven Troubleshooting skills for mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in heavy-duty equipment.
• Relevant technical diploma, certificate, or apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering, Heavy Equipment Technology, or a related field.
• Experience working in mining, construction, or industrial environments with strict safety standards.
• Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently and meet maintenance deadlines.
