HEAD OF OPERATIONS

Requirements:

•  Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Statistics, Risk Management or equivalent with a minimum of ten (10) years banking experience; five (5) years of which should have been in banking operations on a management grade in any bank. A post graduate degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Accounting or a professional certification in Banking, Finance, Risk Management or Accounting will be an added advantage.

Or

In Service Entry:

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Statistics, Risk Management or equivalent with a minimum of ten (10) years banking experience; three (3) years of which should have been in banking operations on the grade of Deputy Head of Operations. A post graduate degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Accounting or a professional certification in Banking, Finance, Risk Management or Accounting will be an added advantage.
• Very good staff performance appraisal report.

Skills:

• High integrity with excellent attention to detail.
• Demonstrate leadership, monitoring and management skills.
• Ability to work for long hours and with little or no supervision.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Must be computer literate, and proficient in the use of Temenos 24 (T24) banking application software.
• Ability to produce timely qualitative and quantitative reports.
• Demonstrate experience in practical accounting and reconciliations.
• Demonstrate good knowledge in statutory and regulatory financial and administrative laws, guidelines, and procedures.
