Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
Scheme Administration & Compliance:
- Oversee the end-to-end administration of all schemes, ensuring compliance with NPRA guidelines.
- Maintain accurate records of contributions, benefits, and investments while ensuring timely submission of statutory reports.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for efficient scheme administration.
Operational Management:
- Supervise Scheme Administration Officers, optimize workflow processes, and enhance operational efficiency.
- Monitor and ensure seamless processing of pension contributions, withdrawals, and benefit payments.
- Handle escalations, resolve client complaints, and improve service delivery.
Financial & Investment Oversight:
- Monitor Scheme performance, conduct reconciliations, and ensure financial accuracy in all transactions.
- Collaborate with trustees, fund managers, and custodians for effective scheme management.
- Assist in preparing financial statements, reports, and audits for pension schemes.
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication:
- Maintain strong relationships with employers, employees, scheme members, and regulatory bodies.
- Educate and guide scheme members on their pension benefits, rights, and investment options.
Risk Management & Continuous Improvement:
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks related to scheme administration and operations.
- Keep abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and implement best practices.
- Recommend and implement technological solutions to enhance efficiency.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Computer Science or related field.
- Master’s degree or qualification (part/full) in CFA, CA, ACCA, or related certification.
- At least 5-8 years of experience in pension fund administration, financial services, with expertise in pension regulation and guidelines.
- Proficiency in pension administration software.
- Proficiency in AI or business intelligence tools is a plus.
- Not above 40 years
