Fleet Operations Manager

Job Description

This role is only for VERY dedicated & uniquely capably applicants. As a founding lead of the operations team, you will be expected to be able to do / figure out EVERYTHING.  We need not just a jack of all trades, but an ace of all trades.  You will flex into many different roles - including fleet management, operator management, training, hiring, fabrication, vendor management, maintenance, logistics, facilities management, user research, design feedback, customer support, marketing, finance, strategy... you name it!  You will be running, tracking, planning, reporting, optimizing, experimenting, scaling across all of these verticals.  You should be great at generating & analyzing data with depth & clarity & highly versed with digital tools. Communicating, planning, & tracking numerically (with graphs & charts & fit trend lines) using analysis tools that you develop in spreadsheets must be second-nature for you.  You love building systems & processes.

We expect you to be communicative, proactive, flag & solve things early, often, & proactively!  You should have a wealth of experience, curiosity, be kind & honest, work VERY hard, be comfortable with extreme ambiguity & variability, but also happy to create & follow process.  Expect to wear all of the hats. This is a startup among startups!

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree
• Logistics / fleet management experience
• Fluent across digital tracking, process, & analysis tools & methods - google sheets, docs, Asana, etc.
• Availability to work daily, full-time in person in Madina area (along the n4), including making sure operations are running on Saturday
• Strong mission alignment
• Highly collaborative, cooperative, constructive, amiable, & excited
• Extremely honest, humble, hardworking, responsible, process-oriented, & punctual
• Love data, optimization, systems, multi-tasking, & chasing ambitious goals
• Fluent in English. Also preferably fluent in Akan/Twi, Ga, or Ewe.
