Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • In this role, you will take end-to-end ownership of hiring for critical positions in South Africa and beyond
  • Working closely with the US/HQ Talent Acquisition and leadership teams, you will identify, propose and execute highly complex initiatives to help scale our hiring operation
  • You will serve as a coach, mentor, and project advisor for team members, accelerating their growth and helping them increase their impact over time
  • We strive to empower our team members to be self-directed and self-motivated in their work


Requirements:

  • Bachelors in Marketing, Communications, Information Systems, Business, Statistics or related major (desired)
  • At least 5 years of experience working in customer service at a manager/director-level
  • Ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role including recruiting, hiring, operations, etc
  • Ideal also includes experience with interviewing, on-boarding, and operations
  • Self-managed with excellent follow-through and initiative to get things done
  • “Can-do” attitude and grit to work through obstacles and complex problem resolutions
  • Creative problem solving and clear, responsive communication style
  • Track record of strong communication and an investment in personal professional development
  • Eager to develop positive relationships internally and externally to achieve necessary goals
  • Strong attention to detail and highly flexible to changing priorities
