We are seeking an experienced Credit Control Manager to oversee and implement credit policies, manage receivables, and drive revenue collection strategies. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring efficient debt recovery while maintaining strong relationships with clients.

Job Description/Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing and implementing credit control policies and procedures.
- Evaluate contract with client and airtime agreements to ensure payment terms and credit limits are within the Company’s credit policy.
- Formulate strategies for revenue collection to prevent debts from going bad.
- Manage clients’ receivable balances by ensuring collections are done when due.
- Transfer overdue debts to debt collection agencies in a timely fashion.
- Prepare and submit monthly review of ageing analysis for management decision making.
- Identify strategies to help drive collection of difficult debts.
- Efficiently manage difficult clients’ receivables by ensuring that collections are done at the due time.
- Ensure daily, weekly and monthly reporting of revenue collections to Management.
Qualifications & Requirements:

A Chartered Accountant from a recognised professional body or Master’s Degree in accounting & Finance or its equivalent from a recognized institution.
- At least 8-10 years working experience in an Accounting or Finance role Proficient in the use of any accounting software.
- Good knowledge in Accounting and Financial Reporting standards.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
- Ability to build strong interpersonal relationships with peers, brand leaders, and other senior management throughout the company
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to align multiple strategies and ideas.
- In-depth understanding of credit control, cash flow, debt analysis and collections strategy.
- Excellent leadership, particularly demonstrating outstanding ability to motivate teams to achieve business results, decisive, and influencing skills.
- Trustworthiness – ability to conduct self in a manner which elicits trust, respect and confidence of team members.
