Credit Administration Officer

To undertake loan underwriting and back office functions including but not limited to data capturing, credit administration and filing of loan documents and contracts

Responsibilities

 Loan Disbursment

• Crosscheck approved loan files to ensure full compliance to pre-disbursement conditions before loans are disbursed
• Disburse loans to customers’ accounts

Back office credit functions

• Document scrutiny and validation
• Data validation
• Data capturing on Loan Management System
• Client income analysis
• Client Credit history checks

Reconciliation

• Reconcile loan approval tracker against list of loans disbursed from the banking application

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications and Experience 

• Min Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, Statistics or any related field
• Minimum of a year’s experience in loan underwriting, loan administration, and portfolio management.
• Organized, with keen attention to detail.
• Skilled in computer software usage.

Competencies required 

• Proficient in computer applications especially Word, Power Point and Excel
• Customer selection, loan appraisal, portfolio management and delinquency management skills
• Effective communication skills
