Cold Storage Operations Manager

What you’ll be doing (ie. job duties): 

• Develop and execute the strategic direction for the Cold Storage Operations team, aligning it with the overall goals and objectives of the organization.
• Lead and manage a team of analysts, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure their professional growth and development.
• Identify opportunities to optimize operational processes, workflows, and infrastructure to enhance the efficiency and scalability of cold storage operations.
• Implement and maintain robust risk management practices to ensure the safe custody of digital assets held in cold storage, including disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as Engineering, Product, and Account Management, to drive alignment and ensure smooth coordination of cold storage operations.
• Oversee the incident management process, ensuring timely and effective resolution of incidents, and communication with stakeholders to minimize impact and ensure transparency.
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the performance of the Cold Storage Operations team, identify areas for improvement, and drive continuous optimization.
•  Stay up-to-date with regulatory requirements and industry best practices related to cold storage operations, ensuring compliance and maintaining a high level of security.
• Foster a culture of learning and development within the team, providing opportunities for skill-building, knowledge sharing, and career growth.
