Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Audit Accountant to join our finance team. The Audit Accountant will be responsible for conducting financial audits, analyzing financial data, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and providing recommendations for improving financial processes. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, a thorough understanding of accounting principles, and experience in auditing.

Job Description/Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct internal and external audits of financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
- Review and analyze financial records, reports, and systems to identify discrepancies or areas for improvement.
- Prepare audit reports detailing findings, recommendations, and corrective actions.
- Evaluate internal controls and suggest enhancements to improve efficiency and safeguard company assets.
- Assist in the development and implementation of audit plans and procedures.
- Collaborate with management and other departments to ensure corrective actions are implemented based on audit findings.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, financial laws, and company policies.
- Provide financial analysis and risk assessments to support decision-making processes.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Maintain accurate and organized documentation of audit processes, findings, and recommendations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Audit Accountant, Auditor, or similar role.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, auditing standards, and financial regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify financial discrepancies.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Professional certifications (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CA) are a plus.
