Audit Accountant

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct internal and external audits of financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
• Review and analyze financial records, reports, and systems to identify discrepancies or areas for improvement.
• Prepare audit reports detailing findings, recommendations, and corrective actions.
• Evaluate internal controls and suggest enhancements to improve efficiency and safeguard company assets.
• Assist in the development and implementation of audit plans and procedures.
• Collaborate with management and other departments to ensure corrective actions are implemented based on audit findings.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, financial laws, and company policies.
• Provide financial analysis and risk assessments to support decision-making processes.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Maintain accurate and organized documentation of audit processes, findings, and recommendations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Audit Accountant, Auditor, or similar role.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, auditing standards, and financial regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify financial discrepancies.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Professional certifications (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CA) are a plus.
