A highly analytical and detail-oriented professional responsible for managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate shop accounts, and conducting internal audits to ensure compliance, integrity, and efficiency of retail operations. This dual-role officer will oversee daily sales reconciliation, stock verification, and expense tracking while also evaluating internal controls, identifying risks, and recommending improvements to enhance financial accountability and operational performance across all shop branches. The ideal candidate possesses a solid accounting background, strong audit instincts, and the ability to work independently and objectively.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
Financial and Transactional Auditing:
- Verified sales transaction with available records (hardcopies and computer).
- Identified and reported discrepancies in shop sales or cash handling.
- Be responsible banking cash and cheques.
Inventory and Stock Control:
- Conducted periodic and surprise stock counts; reconciled variances with records.
- Audited stock issuance, transfers, and deliveries to detect shortages.
- Ensured proper documentation and storage of goods in line with company policies.
Compliance and Operational Review:
- Checked adherence to operational procedures, including cash handling, pricing, and customer service protocols.
- Assessed staff compliance with company policies (attendance, opening/closing procedures, etc.).
- Reviewed shop expenses, petty cash usage, and procurement logs.
Reporting
and Recommendations:
- Prepared detailed weekly audit reports and submitted findings.
- Suggested improvements for internal controls and operational efficiency.
- Followed-up on past audit recommendations to ensure corrective action.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Candidate must be a computer literate.
- Must have completed national service.
