The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the timely processing of statutory payments and maintaining an up-to-date fixed assets register. Additionally, they will prepare monthly accrual and prepayment schedules and assist with GRA tax audits, encompassing the following tasks.

· Prepare monthly Assets roll schedules for Blackline.
· Prepare Property Plant and Equipment (PPE) schedules for annual FS and audit.
· Prepare fixed asset card and ensure monthly capitalization and depreciation.
· Liaise and ensure all fixed assets are well labelled on a continuing basis.
· Prepare accruals, prepayment schedule and reconciliation on monthly basis.
· Post, match and reconcile accrual & prepaid accounts.
· Assist to prepare various reconciliation schedules for monthly Blackline process.
· Assist to prepare Capital Allowance and Deferred Tax Computation schedules.
· Prepare and pay all statutory payments (VAT, WHT and CIT).
· Liaise with GRA to resolve GRA portal reconciliation issues.
· Ensure timely generation and submission of GRA TCCs to various user groups.
· Process and post payroll entries to be validated by Asst. Chief Accountant.
· Assist in the preparation of Monthly Management Report (MMR).
· Assist to process supplier invoices to reduce processing time.
· Cover for Treasury Officer and Account Officers in their absence.
· Perform any other tasks assigned to you by the company or department

Desired Skills and Experience

* A degree holder in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Management, BCom or related field.
