Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Account Officer who will play a key role in the management of our esteemed School in Kumasi. We expect the candidate to be well-versed in basic to average accounting and financial functions, and be familiar with a business and accounting concepts.
- Minimum Qualification : Degree
- Experience Level : Mid level
- Experience Length : 3 years
Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- To oversee the Accounting responsibilities of the school.
- To process Accounting transactions in the School Management System (SMS).
- To prepare monthly and yearly Management Reports.
- To support the Head of the School on finance related issues.
- Proactively identify problems and implement effective solutions.
- Provide a responsive accounting service and liaise with the Head of the School to resolve client issues quickly and efficiently.
- Any other related responsibilities as may be prescribed by superior Officers from time to time.
Education and Experience:
- BA/BSc in Accounting and Finance from a reputable institution.
- Experience in the use of accounting software would be an added advantage.
- Experience in the use of MS Office applications (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
- Experience working in an educational institution would be a plus.
Abilities:
- Ability to actively communicate, inspire and motivate at all levels.
- Ability to think and act strategically and proactively.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently under pressure and with no supervision.

- This job is strictly in Kumasi (Candidates around Kwadaso, Abuakwa and their environs stand the greatest chance).
