Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team in Akuse. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, supporting audits, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The role requires strong analytical skills, integrity, and a good understanding of of accounting principles and systems.

Job Description/Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update financial records and general ledger
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Manage accounts payable and receivable
- Process payroll and ensure compliance with tax obligations
- Reconcile bank statements and manage cash flow
- Support external audits and liaise with auditors
- Ensure compliance with local financial regulations and internal policies
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
- Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial records
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum of 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or Sage)
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools
- Good understanding of Ghana’s tax laws and financial regulations
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications:
- Membership in a professional accounting body (e.g., ICA Ghana, ACCA) is an advantage
- Experience working in a manufacturing, construction, or agri-business sector is a plus
- Residing in or willing to relocate to Akuse
