Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and examine financial statements, reports, and records to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Maintain and update general ledger accounts, reconciling discrepancies.
- Process invoices, payments, and payroll transactions.
- Prepare tax returns and ensure timely submission of tax filings.
- Conduct audits to verify financial records and procedures.
- Prepare budget, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Monitor cash flow, financial transactions, and bank reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and company policies.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to management.
- Collaborate with other departments to support financial decision-making.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CIMA) is a plus.
- Proven experience in accounting or finance-related roles.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, VT transactions, Xero).
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and other financial tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
