We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Officer to join our dynamic print company. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and company policies.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Process and record financial transactions, including invoices, payments, and receipts.
  • Prepare, verify, and reconcile financial statements and reports on a regular basis.
  • Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely collections and payments.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, ledgers, and journals.
  • Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses to support management decision-making.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate recording of financial transactions and expenses.
  • Handle vendor communications and build positive relationships to optimize financial processes.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulations, and company policies.
  • Assist in the preparation of tax filings, financial audits, and other compliance requirements.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing procedures.



Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA) are a plus.
  • Proven work experience as an Accounts Officer or similar role within a print or related industry.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards.
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office suite, with advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities for collaboration within a team environment
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
  • Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills to address financial discrepancies.
  • High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential financial information.
