Job Summary

The Account Manager will be responsible for managing and nurturing client relationships, ensuring that advertising campaigns are executed successfully and efficiently. Acting as the bridge between clients and our internal creative team, the Account Manager will coordinate project efforts, monitor budgets, and contribute to the growth of client accounts.

Job Description/Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

Client Relationship Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients.
  • Develop strong relationships and gain a deep understanding of client needs and business goals.

Project Coordination

  • Oversee the end-to-end planning and execution of advertising and media campaigns.
  • Ensure alignment with client objectives, timelines, and budget.

Communication

  • Facilitate effective communication between clients and internal teams.
  • Provide regular updates, gather feedback, and ensure expectations are managed.

Problem Solving

  • Address and resolve issues proactively to maintain client satisfaction.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients during campaign execution.

Business Development

  • Identify opportunities to grow existing client accounts.
  • Recommend additional services or expanded campaign scopes based on client needs.

Creative Input

  • Participate in brainstorming sessions.
  • Review and provide feedback on creative concepts to ensure alignment with client brand identity.

Financial Management

  • Track and manage campaign budgets.
  • Ensure all projects remain within scope and financial expectations.

Reporting

  • Prepare performance reports and present insights to clients.
  • Gather feedback and assess client satisfaction to improve service delivery.


Ideal Candidate Profile:

Experience

  • A minimum qualification of an undergraduate degree.
  • Exceptional reading, writing and speaking communication skills.
  • The ability to work under pressure.
  • The ability to work independently whilst still being able to contribute to the team.
  • The ability to work professionally in a high energy, fast paced and dynamic environment.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint (or the MAC equivalent).
  • Willingness to take on new challenges and accept rejection with a positive attitude.
  • Outstanding problem solving skills and people skills.
  • Previous experience as an Agency Account Manager is a plus

  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Problem-solving mindset and a collaborative attitude.

Knowledge

  • Solid understanding of the advertising industry and marketing strategies.
  • Familiarity with creative workflows and campaign metrics.
